This is the harvest from the Vernon garden in September. The photograph was taken by Susan Rideout. At the first garden club meeting we picked tomatoes, onion, cilantro, and other fresh items and added lemon juice and a little bit of something else and chopped it all up into salsa and ate it with corn chips. We also planted Winter lettuce.
